Is the IMF loan guarantee US policy or for personal grifting? It's the personal grifting part that is illegal and corrupt. If he did the action in interest of US foreign policy, than no it isn't corrupt. You can disagree with the policy but it isn't corrupt if the action is not for personal gain reasons. Sending political operatives to a foerign country to extort them by dangling already approved 400 million dollar military aid package to force them to publicly announce they are investigating your political rival is for personal aspiration reasons and has nothing to do with executing US foerign policy.

 

The significance of it is the difference between a real corruption vs a manufactured one.

 

We already know, from what Biden has said publicly, that he demanded the prosecutor be fired or Ukraine wouldn't get financial assistance. I haven't watched the youtube video, but from what I understand of the allegation here, its proving the part that is already known and perfectly legitimate American foreign policy. The part Trumpers need to prove to make this useful is that (a) Poroshenko was actually pursuing a prosecution of Burisma that was derailed and/or (b) that Biden asked (or accepted) the Ukraine government or Burisma to put Hunter on the Burisma board. Somebody @ me if you come across one of those things.

I know the Dems have something up their sleeve comes November if they want to win. They will try to replace Biden, aside from all the sexual allegations, perversion with little girls and most of all his mental decline, now they have to deal with all of these corruption charges.
