Next to my name it shows I signed up in 2002 so likely not. Do you want in on it also? It would be nice to put a face to some of the people here. I am sure Tinman is a sexy beast if I had to bet on it.

Once again the Democrats are fumbling the ball.

They failing to deliver whatever their message is
They don't have any real signature legislation or movement in a direction
    They just seem blah

Kamala .. . I have no idea what she is doing or even where she is most times

The democrats has a messaging, marketing, branding and advertising problem
The are not delivering to the people that delivered them the White House

I agree that the Democrats have a terrible messaging problem and it's largely self-inflicted. Biden and the Democratic Congress has already passed some pretty large and important legislation. The COVID relief bill they passed was both big but did a lot of things that were important such as childcare assistance that is one of the largest moves to combat childhood poverty in US history. Biden with a bipartisan support also passed two other pieces of legislation while not as large in scope but still important. Legislation addressing anti-Asian hate crimes and legislation increasing US competitiveness.

The bipartisan infrastructure bill is larger and more comprehensive than anything in decades. It addresses several critical infrastructure needs including clean water and a changing climate. It's largely due to that many in the Democratic caucus who are dismissing it as not enough painting passing that without more as a failure. If that bill alone get's passed it would represent a major achievement especially when compared to the multiple "infrastructure weeks." from the last administration.

While there is still much left to do and legislatively Biden's agenda is far from a failure and Democrats need to recognize that.

I am guessing you are a progressive?

I think Biden has had a few successes as President, but keep in mind he has a small majority in the house and essentially a 50-50 senate (with Harris as tie-breaker) and two senators (Manchin and Sinema) appearing more interested in setting themselves apart from the Democrats. So the odds of passing a lot of left-leaning legislation isn't great, especially since the majority of republicans appear more focused on being the party of no than working for the American people.

IMO, getting any form the bill through should be considered a win and coming back later on the parts that get cut out seems a better approach.

Covid dead and violent parent being arrested over anti-masking crazies are much more about Republican American due to their consistent and growing anti-vax and anti-mask extremes.

    Boring ;)

People and the media tend to focus on emergencies, problems, negative, and excitement. Getting close to pre-covid unemployment and a huge drop in poverty rate is nice and all but doesn't excite and thus get only some brief attention. But the "infighting" among Dem, a star shooting, any other problems however small but exciting grabs attention for days to weeks. Addictive to drama-entertainment. In such an environment, negative and attack messaging get the lion share of attention, and naturally, the party that focuses more on negative and attacks get their message across more than the party that focuses more on solutions.

gov has been and will continue to mostly be dysfunctional without a supermajority or ending the filibuster

I'm surprise when things get done.
