http://m.bleacherreport.com/article..._campaign=programming-national?is_shared=true Anyone think the Texans will give in to the pressure and bring him in for a tryout?
Fans are eating this up ...personally, I feel like it makes the org look bad, when it doesn't give him a shot, but they shouldn't have to. If he's not good enough, then he's not. Don't expect an opportunity just because you really want it. He also has a fundme page set up to finance his training.......I feel like he should just get a 9-5, handle his business at home, and stay ready. Isn't that what Grimes did?
They interviewed him on 610 yesterday. He said he was in camp with the Packers this year and they wanted to sign him but they thought he was still injured when he wasn't. Or that's his story. His wife is a teacher but they've been living off of what he made as a player and he just trains every day so he can be ready if a team calls.
Didn't sound like it. It sounded like his wife works and he works out. Oh, and he has a kid. I understand keeping the dream alive, but at some point he's going to have to give up and get a real job. Maybe holding a sign on a street corner was his last ditch effort.
