How is 8M tough to swallow when Tate barely plays and gets 7M?

8M is cheap for a quality backup center. Naz Reid makes 20M coming off the bench. Adams makes 12M, Landale makes 8M you basically pay the same for your backups except you get 2 guys instead of 1.

I'm guessing the injuries really set him back. On current trajectory we should have him posting quadruple doubles by season end.

With a healthy Jock and Adams we have all the backup bigs we need for Sengun.

End of season Jock was legit. I'm starting to believe he was so bad in the beginning of last season due to that horrific injury

I don't think both will be on the team all season. Too much of a good thing.

Then I hope we wisely use them for trade bait, but in the meantime I will enjoy the riches we have at center.

I think Jock is a positive asset. He proved to me last year that he’s a good backup center, and he’s on a good contract. I’d like to see him get a chance somewhere else because we just don’t have playing time for him with Sengun, Adams, and Bari all likely getting some minutes at the 5 next yr.

I agree with this. I think he's too good to be the 3rd backup. He can play quality minutes somewhere... probably package with Tate for some flexibility near the deadline as long as Adams is healthy.

I like having him around at least until the deadline honestly--his salary is useful for potential trades, and if Sengun or Adams get injured, or Adams just isn't the same player after his surgery (knock on wood), Jock can step right in.

Does he have that Hartenstein potential?
    or a Poor Man's Hartenstein?

Can you imagine if we drafted Clingan? The center position would be like fitting four 7-footers in a Mini Cooper.

I was semi-self convinced a selection of The Klingon was a ticket to tradeland for Alpi. Vive Reed!

Don't forget, Sengun is only 6'4, with alligator arms and a 2 inch vertical.

    He goes in the trunk.

What’s up with rave about Hartenstein? We had him years ago and let him go. he is the system player who just was in great position to succeed and he is way too expensive for his skill set that only proven for contract year season.

Landale with 20 points for Australia, playing against Anthony Davis and the rest of USA's defense.

Where's Aussie Landale for the Rockets? lmao

It's bizarre how much people are obsessed with him. His numbers are straight up mundane, just a typical big man roleplayer with decent D.

Jabari can play some 5, too. I still believe Adams is here for contract-matching purposes only.
