This signing will make a ton more sense if he ends up being our 3rd string center. Sounds like there’s built in flexibility with the deal.
I thought you said he was getting traded. Your predictions are worthless. He played 29 minutes last year already.
100%. If there isn’t, massive blunder by the front office. Grant Williams, PJ Washington and Paul Reed are some free agents I’m watching. Trade targets could be Capela, Myles Turner, Jarrett Allen or others.
I said he’ll get traded in the next couple of years. I was right about what I said last season about what’ll happen to him. I’m gonna be right again. This is a new year and we’re trying to win. These young guys gotta earn their minutes. Ime is not gonna put up with Sengun’s horrible defense, and same goes for the others
Denver's backup center in Jokic's 3rd season was Mason Plumlee. They didn't trade for "rim protection". Let Sengun figure it out.
The Lopez Plan B is pretty inadequate. But as a big believer in Sengun (not to be confused for a SOF), I’m okay throwing him out there for 32 min with this Landale guy backing him up. We obviously still have significant interior defensive liability, but I’m also resided to the fact that this still isn’t a good team. I see 30 wins max. The drop off from Lopez to Landale is super depressing. Not a bad signing, but not gonna add to our win total.
Silas was an idiot. Hard to judge anything based on what he did. Let's just see how it plays out under Ime.
I agree!! But I saw it coming, regardless the reason. I told y’all Silas didn’t like him bc he would publicly diss him, but y’all ignored that. Ime values defense, so your boy better step it up
His defense was much better than that of the guards. We can keep going around in circles like this 100 times, and you will still be wrong. I and others, like @Medicine N Music, have shown the data, you have just shown your bias.
Does seem to me like they have a vision with the offense running thru the center position a fair amount.
