Good. Should help a little. Little more height and, when healthy, I think he will contribute better than Green in the front court. If we do look to bring somebody in this year, I would love Williams from Portland who is clearly an upgrade over Jock.
I actually like Landale. Says it how it is. Plays hard and knows what he's there to do. Even if he's not with us in the long term I wish him a long and successful career wherever he goes. I can root for journeymen workhorse players like that a lot easier than the Wood types who bounce from team to team and still play selfish bullshit. Hope he comes back soon.
He only has played 9 minutes the entire season, so I have no idea what to expect from him. https://www.espn.com/nba/team/stats/_/name/hou/table/game/sort/avgMinutes/dir/desc
Jock will become a fan favorite once people actually have a chance to watch him play. He's a hustle guy. Will fit in well with Amen, Tate, and Tari (when he returns).
I agree. He'll never have flashy numbers, or even those feverish Gary Bird streaks where for a minute he brought so much fun to a painful season. But I think his no-nonsense blue colour attitude and willingness to play the role will win him a lot of fans.
Our bench is getting destroyed so far, having Jock and Tari would make a huge difference. High energy play on both sides and can make open 3’s. Plus they can run in transition which would help Amen. Can’t wait to have them back.
