He will definitely get signed elsewhere. He earned his respect. Played good in the Olympics too.

My prediction, he'll end up with the Lakers, Suns, or Boston.

I wish him the best. The Rockets have like 8 guys under contract that are 6'10" and above (kidding, not kidding).

Another move I'm not loving, but probably a luxury they couldn't afford for very long. Someone will scoop him up pretty quickly I would imagine. Yes, he was BAD when they first got him, but I thought he settled in nicely once he was healthy.

Fair. That would make more sense. I was hoping that to be the outcome.

Jock seemed like a good dude. A dude you could get a beer with. As a basketball player, I hated everything Jock was. He was the only victory cigar player I remember who was so bad that the starters would have to come back in game.

Wish you the best, but far from the Rockets bench.

He's a good dude. Always respected how realistically he saw himself and how honest he was about being happy to fill his role with no aspirations of greatness. You need them blue collar guys willing to grind in practise and be ready when they're called. Hope he finds a good spot, this has been coming since Adams showed his worth in truth, we have bigger needs for his money.

Before we got Steven Adams, he fit a need and was signed at an overvalued price that had team options (win-win for both sides). He was a good salary placeholder and filled in on the court admirably at times.

I assume that they don’t figure to need his salary for any upcoming trades, so it’s better to waive him now and convert that roster spot into a similar salary in a more pressing area of need. PG being the most obvious choice.

I think he should have played a lot more with his 3pt shot, but he is an offense first player, and Ime doesn't seem to play those guys.

Only issue with this is who’s going to play if Adams have to sit out back to back and other games? Hopefully Adams is healthy enough to not sit as much this season, also are the Rockets brining back N’faly Dante

We already have some girth, some length...but definitely can use the extra length with BOL BOL. Can you imagine the starting lineup? Ball handlers and sharp shooters at near 7ft all over the court. Its terrifying

I’m personally okay with Bari being the 3rd string center. Would rather use that spot on a guard/shooter. We don’t have any depth in the bsckcourt and Fred misses time every year.
