During the interview process I refrained from telling them to kill themselves if they refused to acknowledge that Edward James Olmos is the greatest actor of our time. ;)

That was the best Adam Smith joke I've heard all day, but only the second best in my life. You'll have to get better Sam.

As for me I'm just killing time as a Loan Resolution Specialist while I finish my English Master's and get ready to head out to law school.

Working in high finance requires alot of networking. Most people who get these Wall Street type jobs have some sort of connection or another. Either a recommendation from an existing employee or by meeting management member somehow. Rarely do they hire people straight out of college. You can get in entry level as an intern, but that usually is done whilst you are still in college.

Graphic artist in a way. I get to create killer backgrounds for presentations.

Photographer in a way. I take a lot of pictures of products and life sceens for the presentations.

But they really pay me for my presentations. I don't give them, just create them. Not much I don't know about Powerpoint.

You're going to law school with a Master's in English?

I don't know enough about my major. I just figured I'd have to be an English teacher for the rest of my life. I'd kill to be able to aim for a higher-paying job. I gotta look into this...
