It's so easy to get to the mindset you're in. You have to try and break it and just appreciate everything you have--a job, family you love, and a daughter that, even though she can be defined monetarily at 500/mo., you love! Learn to appreciate the little things in life. Try to make peace with whatever consequences result from your actions/words before they develop, and don't worry so much about these results. Worry about the principle and path itself. Enjoy yourself. After this, develop a vision on where you want to be and make a plan on how you can get there. Develop the right attitude towards getting there, and don't expect rewards for your actions. Try to take pride in becoming a better person and appreciate that aspect of life.
