What's it going to take to get everybody to stop ripping into Almu? He's given a satisfactory response about his personal life, which, all joking aside, he did not have to post. Everybody's treating him like he's heyp or something. Now, that guy deserves the verbal lashing.
Almu, opportunities will come and go, but as long as you keep looking, you'll have your day soon enough. Good luck. People are going to call bull**** on Almu's story regardless of what he says. If he wrote one line, then they're going to pile on for the disappointment and call him a flake. I can buy that he ignored this thread on purpose. He had a lot at stake at the time.
Great story, Almu, I feel for you. Just for the record I was NOT one of the many who called you names and made fun of your situation. But if you are as qualified as you think you are, then you'll surely find another job easily. BTW, I also think that the women who called you and talked to you over the phone, did lie about some of the things. Becuase I know from experience that women could become VERY jelous of each other at work.
It was a good story Almu - but not great. I feel your next effort will benefit from this experience as you learn to close plot holes and work on timing issues. I'll give this one 2 1/2 stars but I am eagerly anticipating your next effort.
Thanks for the update. If what you say is true then you should do what Milton did to that building in Office Space. Good luck on your interview tonight. You know.. you could always blame it on HP somehow for the reason why you haven't responded. This thread reached the whole oeilpere/HP status in a couple of days. Amazing. My gf and I would talk about this thread over the phone, geez!
Thanks so much for the update...I can't imagine what you're going thru and just keep a positive attitude..We all go thru things that make us stronger...It sux while in the process, but you'll look back at this and laugh... Besides, everyone now knows who you are...Almu you are now infamous...
No, according to this, you need a sticky, a posted hot topic, and be quoted by another member in their signature, all in one year. I think Almu accomplished the first two with this thread.
