since this is becoming the random job offer thread. I got one too. My company has been trying for 3yrs to get me to move to our Boulder, Colorado office...well, they finally made it worth my while to leave my beloved Rockets country. Man, I'm going to miss Houston. I'm freaking out. So, I leave the day after Dave2000's opening game festivities. I told my boss I couldn't miss it. Plus, I negotiated into my country that I can return to Houston to work here during the playoffs, if the Rockets get past the 1st round. btw: Rockets are in Denver on the 20th of December. I have an awesome furnished "Winter Rental" for 5 months. Like a million dollar house. Rockets and skiing xmas and hottubbing off my 2nd story balcony, anyone?
this is "that week". I leave Sunday after the home opener. Naismith and I are driving a freaking 30 foot truck up there. i'm freaking out.
I wish this thread would just die. Not really, because I want an answer. But dammit, I want this thread to die so I can move on with my life.
Boulder's a great town, HP. If you had to leave Houston, you chose well. Funny how many Texans have moved to Colorado over the years. I think you'll find many, many fellow expatriates to cheer the Rocks with when they play the Nugz. Some friends of mine used to live in a huge house in Denver, back in the '70's. It had a basement! Basements, dude!
