And I'm sure he'll go down as one of the best players of this generation.....however there's no case for him being the best SG of all time or the best scorer of all time. I'm not really taking anything away from him by pointing out that he'll struggle to compare with absolute legends like Earl Campbell, Nolan Ryan, Hakeem Olajuwon, and JJ Watt who is an all time legend in the making.

We can appreciate all of these guys without taking away from any of them.

JJ watt might be the most charitable athlete in houston history. Guy is always trying to do good things.

Thank goodness the Rockets got rid of that ridiculous cut of the jerseys. JJ puts on a Yao era Jersey and he really does look like JJ Fatt.

I picked harden but I like Basketball more than football, although I do love football and boxing a lot there very close seconds but basketball will always be my number 1.

With that said Watt has done things literally nobody in the history of the game has done before. 3x defensive player of the year and only player to register multiple 20+ sack seasons.

He's special and one of the best defensive players of all time.

But Harden is a transcendent alltime talent himself. He's one of the best offensive players to ever step on the court. He also has a lot of very prime years left while jj prob won't ever get back to his peak again.

So I can see the case for Watt because his 4 year run was arguably the best any non QB has ever had.

But Harden has a lot of time to change that while Watt doesn't and he plays in a more team oriented sport we're outside of QB you can't impact the game like James harden can.

Now if harden gets a chip or
More for the city? He'll be on top with Hakeem with a legit argument to be the best in houtson history over the dream.

(It'll take atleast 3 chips for me to pick him over dream)

Good for Watt for inspiring people to donate post Harvey. That said,

JJ Watt, is one of the most phony athletes I've ever seen. He's a walking advertisement for himself. Remember him working out in some cabin in the woods during the offseason? Remember when he rushed back from an injury cause only he's a WARRIOR but just ended up getting hurt worse?

At least this time he learned from his own mistake and didn't use social media to self aggrandize in the wake of THIS tragedy.

STOP DISRESPECTING HARDEN by comparing him to JJ FATT. Fatt is very similar to another Houston sports failure in Jerry Lin. Fatt and Harden, there is no comparison at all.

5 REASONS WHY JJ FATT IS SIMILAR, ALMOST IDENTICALTO JERRY LIN

    1. ALL Hype, NO substance - Let's face it. Both these guys have zero substance on the court but are just a product of hype. They are no
    2. LOSER PLAYERS - Both of these guys are loser players on the court. Fatt led his team to 2-14 HUMILIATION and 0-30 EMBARASSMENT at HOME. Jerry led Lakers to lottery and then Nets to the worst record in the NBA
    3. SOFT, GUTLESS - Both these guys are soft and gutless, period. Injury prone wussies. While one sits out almost an entire playoff series with a "bruised chest", the other Fatt takes off an entire season and then comes back first game and gets a "bruised" finger. LMAO
    4. FAKE LEADER - Both these guys are fake leaders. Buying your team headphones or acting in HEB commercials doesn't make you a leader. They do not inspire success.
    5. FAKE FANS - Both these guys have fake, delusional, low IQ, Player Only Fans. Their fans do not care about the team success, their dumb fans go to extents to make ridiculous excuses to defend their hero. Fatt fans and jerry fans live vicariously through these guys, just look at yoeddy or Miguel (Jerry Lin Fans) or bobbythefail or that Nigelthornberry dude

Bonus: Both are attention ho's. They love the media attention. Remember when Jerry threw the tantrum after the Melo pursuit or the countless media phony promotions Fatt does.

@Snow Villiers @TheRealist137 - I had promised you guys these facts

I guess I will never understand this. Sad thing is we have posters on this site doing the same thing. Bobbythefail, dagreatest, yoeddy etc all just arguing for their color irrespective of performance. I don't get it. If a player sucks, he sucks irrespective of race.

As for me, I call a spade a spade. JJ Fatt, Sam Dekker, Kevin McHale etc all suck. Jerry Lin, Yi JianLian etc all suck. Greasy Keith Jones, Corey Sewer, T _ones etc all suck

Would the Oilers be as popular as the Texans are today if they never left town? How much of the cities Texans love intensed by the NFL coming back? I didnt move here till 2010 so i dont know how the city felt about the Oilers and Rockets while they were both here.

LOL, no of course I don't do that. FTW Rockets FTW is almost exclusively a troll especially when it comes to conversations about football. He's a little bit better when ti comes to basketball, but in conversations about sports other than basketball he should be regarded as nothing more than a kid in the corner of the room making fart noises.
