Harden was the second best player on the WC champions at the age of 22 and Asik was backing up a perennial candidate for DPOTY. Lin's awful. We've seen what Landry and Hickson are capable of and it's not very impressive.

We still have two PF's coming off their rookie year. TJones, DMo, and TRob will be better players. I mean why go through all the trouble if it's not a clear upgrade at PF position? Beside, Landry will probably want a longer contract and more than MLE. He has a player option next year.

Are you willing to give him 3-4 year contract and have him as our starting PF going forward??? If not, I doubt he will opt out just to play here and for anything less.

OKC was more than a 'contender.' OKC was the best team from WC!

Asik was backing up a top 5 center in the league. Lin was cut for Flynn, and if it weren't for injuries, he would've been cut by Knicks too. Small sample size but for his first few starts, Lin was the best player on his team.

The team with the best record in NBA a 'pretender'? LOL!
