He must be injured,Sura that is.Its still a dumb move we went from having a servicable 3 to no 3 or if T-Mac is moving to the 3 no 2 guard.
JJ only played here for 1 season, but he is one of my favorite, I was really hoping he can retire as a Rocket. Good luck JJ, we are going to miss you.
Stupid, stupid, stupid f-ing trade! There better be something else in the works or I'll be calling the Rockets ticket office for a refund on the rest of my games this year. This does NOTHING to help us!
No we're not, we may be trading for the wrong people, but there is no one on this roster that is untradeable esp. after this disappointing start, save for Yao and Tracy. I don't think that the muckety-mucks (and many fans here) saw any enormous potential with the current roster held, thus, changes had to be made. Stuart
I know this is crazy, but does anyone thing T-mac or Yao has any say so on these trades?? You think CD asks for their 2 cents on who they would want to play with or want off???
Hey guys, I agree that this is another horrible trade for the ROX. But eventually it will work out in our favor. Van Gumby is just trying to save his ASS before he is canned. And he will be canned, Eventually! I cannot wait. The ROX's roster is full of old, unathletic players with declining skills outside of T-Mac and Yao. So it does not matter who the team gets rid of now as long as Van Gumby is soooooooon to follow!
lol jj traded again lol he thought he was the leader of this team ...his only home was in dallas...hes been traded over and over since then, finally he thuoght he had a home in houston...and next thing u know traded to the wrost team in the league haha all the nice things we said abt him last year got to his head this year i think
i would be angry too. going from a potential playoff team to the worst team in the league. he's too old to be playing for lottery teams. like others on this board, i really liked JJ. going to miss watching him shoot 3s from the corner
What a bad trade. Even if Sura is hurt, atleast get a draft pick or something. JJ seemed to be the leader of the team...it's going to be a LONG season if we make no other moves, but now we have traded away the only 2 pieces that seem valuable.
Don't blame this on CD. He only makes thhe trades at the coaches and owners request. He informs JVG of offers and tries to find the best deals for players wants to trade or sign. JVG was 100% the man behind all trades. I would say that is not as much the case now as Les has executed his veto power more. But still these trades or JVG's. And the dismantling of the Rockets is JVG's doing. If this team succeeds with these players give him the credit. But ifit fails give him the blame.
Not unless we do that by tomorrow. Normally, that kind of thing doesn't happen unless it is a 3-way deal. Plus, the Rockets likely wouldn't announce it as if they want to keep Wesley if he was moving on immediately. That's probably wishful thinking.
That would be nice, but I don't see why Denver would want to make that trade. Why take on Mo when they're trying to clear out excess PF's? I wonder what else we really have to offer other teams?
