The only guy on the rockets roster I like anymore is Yao. I could care less about everybody else. I have lost about all enthusiasm I had for the team. I cannot wait for the day CD/JVG are gone.

See, that is the problem with lawyers, they think every argument is the same.

    Vegetables are not apples.

    Sheesh !

the problem with gamers is they live in a fantasy world. where the astros have no heart...vick is the greatest QB of all time...and Boki is a superstar waiting to happen.

What it says it they won't be dicked around. They may be the N.O. Hornets but they're no pushovers. In that respect it was a very wise move. All team owners gave an approving wink and a nod to the decision cause a player not only refusing but not actually reporting to the team he is traded to.. theres no precedent for that. and the league executives don't want there to be.

Actually, going by W/L and +/-, we did worse when Boki was on the court.

Regardless, my only poing was, and continues to be, is, we won last night with Wesley contributing so their head to head stats shouldn't be used as a comparison.

And even if they are, then Im quite confident Wesley will a) Have the better stats and b) His team will have the better record.

Clears cap room? How? NO is over the cap whether JJ retires or not.

Both of their deals were over after next season, and Boki's after this season. It does not put us at a cap disadvantage anymore than we already were.

Actually, my process of logic had alot to do with the defense Wesley played. I have clearly pointed out that stats isn't the end all, be all way to gauge any trade, much less this one. I prefer the direct correlation of W/L and chemistry.

I pointed out Boki's shooting stats to bring those back down to earth who claimed that Boki had a great game (even when his team lost) and "damn JVG" for trading him.

We don't really know what happened in the locker room. You are giving JVG the benefit of the doubt, while others are giving Boki that. JVG is a known whiner while Boki is not. That doesn't prove anything, of course. I just find it easier to believe JVG is at least part of the problem with this deal.

Think about it this way. Assuming Boki is a locker room cancer. Is it worth trading away JJ just to get rid of Boki? I just can't believe Boki's alleged malcontent is so big a problem JVG has to fix it at all cost. There are more glaring problems with the team than a complaining bench warmer.

Wow. Now, not only is every single thread negative, even after a win, but even people TRYING to be optimistic are getting flamed.

I guess that was one too many fan favorite traded away. I could care less if they traded Boki to a prison team. The Rockets haven't been winning, so SOMETHING has to be done. We might as well trade Boki and get something back for him since it was obvious JVG was never going to play him and he was probably just going to be let go at the end of the season anyway. I don't know why that is, no one outside of the Rockets team knows exactly why that is, but it sure doesn't matter now.

JJ was my second favorite guy on the team, but he's gone now. I began rooting for David Wesley the minute he stepped on the floor for Houston. Anyone with that uniform on, I will support and cheer on in hopes that they can help the Rockets.

Losing basketball teams make trades. I accept this and I'm willing to give Wesley a shot. I'm sure codell is in the same boat.

According to clutch's article, Boki seemed to be the whiner. Its been noted that there are several guys on the team not happy about PT, yet, Boki was the first one traded (i woudl assume Lue wasn't whining about PT, since he was getting alot of minutes).

I think the trade may have been made for multiple purposes, with improving our injury riddled back court being one of them, and getting rid of a malcontent Boki the other.

Id be interested to see what trades JVG made in NY and if he was known to ship players out just because he didn't like them, with no regard to improving the team. If he didn't, then the case for Boki is not good IMO.

I find it ironic that JVG trades away the one guy that is starting to show some back bone by standing up for himself.

I guess the little Napolean doesn't really want players who question his maniacle little plan.

JVG is the cancer here, players are playing worse under him than at any other stop in their careers.

I guess that is ok though as long as we hover around .500 with a proven Superstar and an All star center.

This team will undaracheive until JVG is gone, he is NOT a championship coach.

    Now that is funny !!!!

The Astros did not have any heart until Phil provided it.

Vick is a good QB as evidenced by the way he changes the game and makes his team better, but I never said he was the greatest....

And, I also never said Boki was a superstar, just a complimentary role player who could develop into a nice 2nd or 3rd option.

But, I am sure you are billing someone for the hours you spend on this BBS...good on ya mate !

Cool, I am sure your rate is negotiable, and judging by your logic you must be up to about $.02 an hour by now.
