If any of you watched NBA Fastbreak, Mark Jackson said the Rockets made a bad move to trade a guy like Jim Jackson. He also said JJ should not report to the Hornets. Everyone on the show says they are confused by what the Rockets are doing. Could this trade lead to a big trade? I hope so.

JJ knows this is a business as he has been traded too many times and have been on too many teams not to know this. Unless CD or JVG flat out told him he was untouchable, then I see no reason why he should pull anything. He was a part of an under-achieving team that was looking to make changes, he should have known his name was going to be thrown out there as he was one of the best tradeable assets. I'm surprised MJ would say something like that as he is a veteran of the league as well, but I haven't really agreed with anything he has said since he has been on TV. I feel bad for him but he nees to realize that he makes millions playing a game and needs to start looking at himself and figure out why no one wants to keep him.

I hope Boki will work hard and succeed with the Hornets. He started showing some potential this year but he was never in favor here.

What is wrong with that? That is soo damn true. Are you supposed to trust media? Most of them only know how to stir things up.

JJ should report to NO. By refusing to go there things will get very ugly
in Houston. The organization will have to look for another trading partner which will not be an easy task.

Wesley brings more to the rox right NOW than the players that got traded away, plain and simple.

Jim the journeyman is a journeyman for a reason - boki has potential.

i think it was a good trade. i'll miss JJ, but also happy the trade was made.

I hope wesley fails his physical, and this deal becomes null & void.

Dude has some kind of record for not missing games. He wants to play here like all shooters, he'll pass. JJ however...

Boki is a non-factor... what has he ever accomplished to bring value to this team... ALL the fans are still waiting for this guy to put good games together...not happened yet.... and it NEVER gonna happen... wake up its the truth.

JJ ... there must be something wrong with him that he got traded...be it in the locker room or whatever... he played a lot of minutes which means he was valuable... Wesley has shown that when he is on a good team and he does not have to create his own shots....he hits them...

weird trade though. maybe a change will help this team. there are probably more changes to come. ...........hopefully.

I have always liked Wesley as a player. He's got a great shot and plays his @$$ off. Some argue that the numbers of JJ and Wesley are similar which negates the purpose of the trade. The numbers are very similar, but their roles in the previous systems were very different. It seemed as if Jimmy was solely a spot up shooter for the Rockets. Wesley, on the other hand, had been looked upon to shoot a lot more for the Hornets, forcing him to take less desirable shots. I think that Wesley will flourish in the role of spot-up shooter in the Rockets system.

btw-I was just looking at the standings and we are not in that bad of shape. We are tied with Denver for 9th in the West and they have lost 5 in a row and 7 of their last 10. In contrast, we have won 7 of our last 10. If you throw out the two losses against the Bobcats, we are doing great right now.

If you just look at the last ten games the only team in the conference with a better record is the god-like Suns.

Would be funny if JJ was a closet homosexual and eventually something happens in the locker room, and he gets traded.

If that happens, this team will be total chaos. JJ is not gonna come back here and everything be okay. We need to hope JJ reports and DW passes his physical.

Unless we are gonna root for an all out mutiny and somehow get Yao and TMac on board supporting JJ. That ain't happening. Yao and JJ are going along with Van Gundy. So the best thing we can hope for is for JJ to report and DW to pass his physical.

    I just visited Hornet's bbs.

    Everyone there liked the trade.

The general concensus is that DW will flourish with us. They say DW is a tough defender, and has a great attitude.

It's amazing how positive those guys are over there, and they won 2 games all season.

What's up with Brand's diminishing minutes and production? Might cheap Donald be ready to move him out for JH + TE?

What's up with Zo's buy out?

What would Cavs GIVE to be free of Snow?

What might Sac GIVE to be free of C-Webb?

What might Raps be willing to do to be free of thorny Rose?

What might 6ers be willing to do to be free of Big Dog and/or KT?

Could any of these be tomorrow's news?

The truth huh? When has the dude ever gotten a real chance? Don't name the couple of games he started, in a career that is not near enough timeto get into your game. He has never been given a real chance, and hopefully he will get one in NO.

I understand your point and agree that the team is looking better... but if we didn't lose those 2 games to the Bobcats, we might not even have this thread going right now and we would be talking about JJ playing against Lebron this week
