There is no standard definition of what one might mean if they reference "Katrina". In my personal opinion, I don't really care what somebody means when they refer to as "Katrina" as long as its reasonable. I would say that from the time the preparations were being made before the actual hurricane hit until after residents were allowed back into New Orleans would be a reasonable time period to refer to as "Katrina". That was a period of more than two weeks and included the time when Jindal says he was in Lee's office.
