I enjoy Potbelly's from time to time.

Jimmy John's uses too much mayo for my tastes.

Subway people - Do you also think the Olive garden is good Italian food?

This is a joke poll, right? There are people out there that actually think Subway tastes GOOD? Wow. My wife and I call their turkey "squirkey" and roast beef "squeef," because both look like they were squeezed out of a tube.

Are you trying to make a correlation between people who like Subway and Olive Garden?

Subway is cheap, fast, convenient, and it's a sandwich. You pay 5 bucks and it's satisfying.

Olive garden is expensive for what you get, crap, and a lot better can be had for a little more money. You pay nearly 20 bucks for a meal/drink + tip. F that noise.

Depends on how I am feeling.

The workers at Subway though... Ugh, can't make a sandwich the way you want it to save their lives sometimes.

I disagree here. While I agree that the bread is amazing at Jimmy Johns, I think their ingredients are far superior and that is what truly makes them the best.

I've never heard of Jimmy John's either, so I'll go with Subway. Quizno's is my favorite sub place but their subs arent $5 anymore.

If JJ baked their subs, they would win. But since they don't, Subway wins this round.

Of course, Quizno's is the best, period.

I would say they are both easily the 2 worst sandwich chains

I like both Subway and Olive Garden, although I really doubt there's a correlation there.

I couldn't disagree more. I really like Olive Garden. Their bread sticks and salad dressing are very good, and I really like a couple of the items on their menu. I've been to upscale Italian restaurants, and I don't think that its worth the extra money. In fact, I would take Olive Garden over most Italian restaurants I've been to regardless of price.

I can't believe that there are people trying to defend the horribleness that is Subway, especially against Jimmy John's which has some of the best sandwiches period. When JJ came to Houston I almost threw a party. You people are nuts.

I've never eaten at Jimmy John's.

I still voted for Jimmy John's.

Not a big fan of Subway though I really like their new steak and bacon flatbread sandwich they have out at the moment.

I've never been to a Jimmy John's but have wanted to try it. There is a new Potbelly's that opened up by me and want to try that as well.

BUT, the best sandwich place IMO is Earl of Sandwich. Awesome!

I've never heard of Jimmy John's. I don't think they have those in SoCal. We do have TOGO's. I like them all about the same. Sometimes Quizno's will have some kind of special meaty sandwich, and if I feel like that I will go there, but usually that's last on my list of sandwich places.

I think Jimmy John's is terrible. Boring deli sandwiches with crappy bread.

JJ's always seems to have fresher ingredients, and slightly more variety.

I haven't been to a Subway in almost 2 years. I get a veggie sandwich from JJ's maybe once a month. JJ's easy.

Quizno's, Firehouse, etc...all those similar chains are way overpriced. I can't believe people actually eat there.

We need more choices...Like Firehouse Subs or Potbelly's, which rock...

I've never had Jimmy John's but maybe I should...I use to go to subway because of it was cheap, well, not anymore as they don't have the $2.69 6" anymore, well, at least where I live...

Jimmy John's is completely overrated. Subway wins if for no other reason than they now carry Shamrock Farms chocolate milk, the greatest chocolate milk in the world.
