Didn't know Fallon got kicked off SNL. I thought dude just quit. Anyway, the show didn't really lose much when he left. He's a better talk show host than a cast member on SNL. Probably has great writers too.
It's not a 90s thing. He is just rolling with what is popular and works. He's the James Harden of late night.
Fallon wasn't fired. IIRC Lorne Michaels said Fallon was a die hard SNL fan and always felt 6 years was the right length of time to be there based on previous members. I only remember his first project after the show was that weird taxi movie w/ Queen Latifah. At the time I thought 'uh oh'. He was never my cup of tea then or now, but good for him. I like to see SNL alumns go on to other successes afterwards.
Damn, those saved by the bell peeps look almost the same. Jessie getting a little thick in the hips there. She became a stripper? Man it was all downhill as soon as she did Showgirls.
That was amazing. Aside from fat belding, that cast didn't crack. They made the skit. Love those girls still.
