This explains your infatuation with The Dixie Chicks.

    Will Ferrell ftw.

If you have kids, the Let it Go song has already been burned into your memory for a lifetime so watching him clown it was hilarious.

Fallon has some really great bits but is freaking awful as an interviewer. Just really really awkward and terrible. He's definitely a talented and funny dude but I think his writing team can't get enough credit for his popularity.

That was awesome. I love that they're not too proud to poke fun at themselves after all this time. And the ladies of Bayside have both aged quite well, I might add...

Credit where credit is due. I was not a fan of Fallon on SNL because of his constant 'breaking character with uncontrollable laughter' shtick (which was always FAKE), but ever since he's got this show, he's been KILLING it.

There's so many talk shows these days and most of them are just copying Letterman when he was at his peak. But Fallon has managed to come up with his own style, which I never thought would be possible.

his style is to take things others have created, that we have an emotional attachment to, and tweak it in a humorous way

he's scripted and derivative (i.e. not spontaneous and not original)

Sure... but it works... and is tremendously popular.

Honestly, he could just make a show with a bunch of these bits and his other recurring acts (lip-sync battles, etc.).

Does anybody actually care about a guest's "interview" anymore? (Which, I admit, Fallon sucks at interviewing)... its always been just an avenue for the guest to plug whatever movie/show/etc. that's coming up... basically a 10 minute commercial.

What I love about Fallon is that he's bringing all the stuff I love from the 90s, paying tribute and also poking fun of it which is awesome. I mean to bring back Full house with Jesse and the Rippers??? Fallon is the best late night host right now only because of nostalgic purposes. If he was just doing interviews, I don't think he's really that good unless he can get Nicole Kidman on every night cause that one was Golden.

Fallon is such a try-hard it irks my soul.

Conan interviews are still the best.

He's catering to the "classic" older generation who are at around his age who watched the shows and "retro" things he's parodying. If you like that sort of unoriginal stuff, that's your boat, I guess.
    Yeap. ^ This.

He did the same with the Brian Williams rap when someone had already been doing it on YouTube.

He's a perfectionist and should give credit to others who have done things before him... at least say: "Originally made by [name]. Thank you, [name]!" But he doesn't.

Fallon is good but Conan is my favorite. Dude can always make me laugh. His facial expressions are the best and he has no shame admitting he's checking female guests out.

For one reason or another I think Craig Ferguson bags the ladies, too. He #($*&#* charms the #($*&t out of them and keeps their attention on him. I watch and learn.

Fallon is over at NBC with a huge umbrella of licenses, staff payroll and budget, and Conan is over on Cable TV rubbing sticks together trying to make fire with the cast of Franklin and Bash.

For those that dislike's Fallon's humor. Is it because you didn't grow up in the 90s or never found him funny since SNL???? I would think that the 99ers on this board would go ape **** over Fallon's material since hosting the Tonight Show, no?

    ^^ 99ers doesn't auto-magically translate to birth year, man. :p

The downfall of Fallon in SNL was working with Will Farrell. He couldn't stay in character when Will was doing his antics.
