Yep. At least Melo played. There are no guarantees Kyrie will not be injured a lot wherever he goes. Players that have shown they get hurt, usually continue that trend in the NBA.
1. What would the Celts offer? As previously mentioned they wouldn’t offer up Brown for Leonard why for Butler? 2. Lakers gonna trade thier assests for Leonard for Butler instead? 3. Never seen anything that says Butler isn’t liked by teammates outside of him and Rondo not getting along but nobody gets along with Rondo 4. Eric Gordon AND Ryan Anderson are actually GREAT fits for them with Teague, Wiggins and KAT. EG actually helps keep them under the LT and they want to stay under LT while maxing out KAT 5. Id be willing to take back Deing on the pretense Jimmy signs long term
Are Draymond Green and Jimmy Butler tight? At this point that's the first question we should be asking.
What could the Lakers offer? They are over the cap now. They have to include enough contracts to get to $19M. They only way they can reasonably do that is to offer Deng. The Wolves aren't taking on Deng.
Yeah, but injuries aside (which are very concerning) i just don't think he's worth what he's probably going to ask/get, which is something like 38/40M per year. He's a super talented scorer but not a pg, not a franchise player, not a defender, not a high iq player...meh.
Trade Ryan Anderson and a 1st for Jimmy Butler S&T Clint at 3 yr /$75 million for Andrew Wiggins Throw the MLE at Brook Lopez Lopez/Nene PJ Tucker/Scrub Jimmy Buckets/Wiggins/Green Harden/Gordon Paul/MCW Yes, I'm that desperate for talent to take on Wiggins' contract
If we renamed the Rockets the Tomball Rockets, do you think it would help? Or would Gerald Green immediately demand a trade?
honestly..I don't think that Butler will force his way nowhere. He has never been an UFA. He will want to get wined and dined judging from his character. He will want to test FA as the biggest name and hear the pitches and choose himself the best option.
He also has no unique affection for Houston (famously dismissing the idea that this is hometown) and the only stated preference he has is to go East apparently. Probably bothers him that in the West he's unlikely to continue to be an all-star.
Ryan Anderson for Butler. Capela for Towns. John Lucas puts butler towns in therapy sessions. Problem solved.
where does he play in C's-land; or, who sits if he visits Leprechaunville permanently? Brown for Butler? Nah from Ainge.
On a team that depended on Wiggins to be the 3rd banana? Definitely. On a team that looks to him to be maybe the 4th or 5th player at best? Probably can stomach it.
Yep, unfortunately this seems to be the case. I would push for a trade regardless and hope he likes the team enough that he stays next year ala Paul George/OKC. Lakers and Boston have better assets but I don’t necessarily believe, talent wise, that they can get a better player than Capela. Hell maybe they’ll even take Gordon, they need shooters and I don’t think they’re in rebuilding mode.
Unless he's traded to a contender like the Rockets or OKC then I think he won't resign anywhere else. He wants to go to the East because it's easier to win , make the ECF and also be an all star.
