Jimmer is a player. He realizes that team is a mess and he don't fit and never will. He wants out because he knows he can play and wants to prove it. I don't know if he fits here with the Jeremy Lin show. But I know he is an NBA player that should fit in someones rotation.
This guy is the perfect off-the-bench scorer to me and he just needs the chance (and the shots) to be that and excel. I'd dump Morris/Douglas/Knicks 2nd rounders for him.
Jimmer is like Redick except he isn't as athletic and he is smaller. He is basically a SG in a PG's body. Poor man's Redick at best.
You guys act like jimmer is sitting out there wide open and no ones passing the ball. When you have no skills besides shooting you need to knock down shots, Kerr, Reddick, Novak, etc. Jimmer hasn't done that so he's useless.
He'd be a great bench player for OKC. Instant offense. I remember that tweet from Durant during Jimmer mania where Durant said Jimmer was the best scorer in the nation.
While I don't blame him for wanting to leave Sacramento, Jimmer may have to accept the NBA is not for him. But maybe a fresh start with lower expectations is what he needs.
Jimmer was too unselfish last year. The coaching staff said the whole season he needed to be MORE selfish and just play his game, which is to be a scoring machine. So for the ones saying he's too selfish, you obviously never watched a Kings game last year.
I like it, but there are no minutes for him with Lamb and Martin. He really shouldn't play PG. Maybe if Martin is traded. He would be great off the bench behind Lamb.
