    anyone in Southern Cali knows what I am talking about.

    three of the most annoying, irritating sports talk hosts you will ever hear...

    and yet, I listen to them EVERY DAY

    I really can't add a whole lot to the greatness that MadMax has pissed all over this thread. The Monsters of the Midday have to be the most annoying, clueless, out of touch douche bag sports talk hosts that have ever been allowed on the airways.

    Rome's callers can get annoying, but for the most part I really enjoy his show.

    Man don't hate on Rome, the guy is fun to listen to. He talks smack all the way through his show and cracks me up every morning. Just don't take it seriously and you'll actually enjoy it. What else do you expect from a sports talk radio show that runs for an hour?

    I don't mind Rome at all. he is a smart guy whi is actually good at what he does.

    I hate the clones. They annoy me me. I hate the stupid ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh sound they all make.

    Romey himself gets a bad rap because so many of the ESPN generation are aspiring replicas of his crass, in-your-face demeanor. Too many clones today in every sense of it.

    Exactly. Past that, he will say the email is stupid, then read it 2 more times, say it's stupid again. Ball it up, throw it away, and continue talking about how stupid it is after he's throw it away for another minute or two. All while saying, "Don't do that. We don't saying *insert witty/stupid remark* on my show." Then, he'll read it again.

    I'm thinking to myself, why did he bother doing all of that if it was so stupid? Lol

    Rome doesn't really bother me because its obvious he's just a schtick and most of the time its entertaining. He hasn't changed much in 20 years.

    Last time I stumbled on the monsters station I started yelling curse words at them. I seriously wanted to vomit. It was hard for me to believe they were getting paid to talk about sports.
