Chandler Parsons calls in talks about the 3rd star thing Lebron and KD enjoy! http://jimrome.com/2014/01/22/parso...tting-better-and-better/#.UuBCpqu5JTk.twitter
Sounds like he just dodged the question about playing in Houston and said he might be interested in doing stuff other than basketball eventually.
When you take into account China, where The Rockets are the top team and where Parsons just got a lucrative shoe deal, there isn't a bigger market than Houston.
Honestly the quote just makes it sound as if he could retire early (maybe after his next 4 year deal) By that time he will have plenty of money, be late 20's and be a model/actor/etc.
It got the thread going I didn't hear the interview, but it doesn't sound like he's just referring to cashing in by just endorsing shoes and sportswear. I would say he's interested in modeling and fashion, maybe acting. Either way, he'd probably be better off in LA or NY.
He is a smart guy he meant simply: Moray if u think i am not worth it ,it ok, i know i can make some place else
I believe him when he says .. “But right now, I’m all basketball. I want to win championships, I want to be an All-Star and I’d love to do that in Houston" when its all said and done I think they keep Parsons ..I hope
Where would you guys place Chandler amongst SF's? Lebron, Durant, George, Melo are top 4 for sure. I think the followng pile is a bit of a mess and a lot of these players could be in this pile due to being a system guy or someone who benefits from 2 other stars (whom Chandler might be, not really sure as of yet) Iggy, Parsons, Leonard, Deng, Batum are the next 5 in no particular order BUT would you say it is delusional to believe Parsons is the best of that group? I think Deng makes a strong case for being the best, and then I would say Parsons and Batum are somewhat tied for the next spot and I think after last night (1/21/14, win against Blazers and CP: 31 points 10 rebounds 7 assists) Parsons battled pretty well. The only thing that must be considered is defensive impact and Parsons, although promising in his rookie year, hasn't become that defensive guru many of us expected. Is Parsons a top 5 SF, is he close, or am I crazy? Upon further examination, it isn't that much of a stretch honestly.
