Wow, that was uncalled for! There is a lot more going on behind closed doors than we know because Stern continues to get away with a lot of stuff. The guy is evil.
"How dare you ask" what the majority of NBA fans would like you to ask. As for his analogy, if Jim Rome's wife kept appearing in public with a bruised face, well, then Stern could ask him that awful question. And while I don't think the lottery is fixed, at all, the NBA has had a number of pretty strange issues over the last many years, from refereeing, to nixing deals, to the lottery results, etc.
