Didn't Francis get a dunk that was completely opposite of his dunking style?

Yeah the Terence Stansbury "statue of liberty" dunk, which is a 360 off one foot, with one hand. Poor Stevie couldn't palm the ball and kept losing the handle on it.

And yes the wheel was a stupid idea. Guys have their own styles and they need to play to their strengths. Remember how Jason Richardson, who's a ridiculously good two-footed dunker, coudn't even do a dunk from the free throw line?

I really really hope that the NBA abolishes the stupid 3-year rule where only the young guys can enter. Richardson has said he might be come back if they let him. A showdown between him and Carter would be legendary.

It doesn't really bother me that the NBA is really only inviting the young players anymore. What bothers me about the dunk competition is how the players act during it. Like Deuce said, it's all about image, so the ones that are there act like they think it is all a big joke and don't care, and it ceases to be a real competition. Back during the Jordan/'Nique days, the players REALLY gave a **** who won the damn thing. These days, most of them couldn't care less.
