Exactly. We need speed and quickness. A 14 year veteran probably won't help us much there.

Aside from the fact he has shot terribly this season, he is slow footed. He was slow footed two years ago on the Rockets, and he is slow footed now. We actually traded him for Wesley to improve our perimeter defense for crying out loud! Now we talk about how slow David Wesley is. I loved JJ, but he can't help us.

I agree with what you're saying ... I liked JJ here. I personally think there is a reason the Rockets dealt him and it wasn't just because they loved Wesley, but I may be wrong.

However, if you look at his numbers (as SamFisher said, playing on the Suns), it's possible he may be at his NBA end. I think the Rockets have learned this year that they have to be more forward-thinking (as in "future", not the position - though the position would be nice too) ... I'm not sure this team needs another older player who may have just lost it.

Why is this thread 5 star?

Isn't he used to be a member of "black-hole"--a term being used by this forum for certain member of the Rockets teem?

One more question: Why is it everytime Joe Someone being released there would surely a thread suggesting to pick him up?

Probably, the Suns don't have enough players now they get to sign TT for beans, thats what wrong with the Rox. Only thing we attract are mosquitoes and flies or Stromile Swift and DA.

If JVG can't find a role for Jon Barry, why would we go and sign JJ?
