I went to Jiffy Lube once to have my oil changed. Then I left for about 5 minutes. When I came back, they claimed they were done. I always had a sneaky suspicion nothing was ever done. Sufficed to say, I never took my car to jiffy lube again. Valvoline Instant Oil Change is by far the better company, and I could see them doing everything because they do it right in front of you. They are great.
I had my car recently inspected at a Shell gas station. They told me I needed an engine flush from my coolant to the radiator to the engine to clean out the sludge. Told me it was $60. I'm glad I told them no.
