t-mac is still double teamed when yao is on the court. teams are more willing to send a triple when yao is out, but they still double.
juwon isn't a better second option than a third option. he looks better now as a semi go-to guy because he played like **** earlier in the year but that had nothing to do with being the third scorer. right now he looks exactly like the third option juwon howard from last season when the rockets were tearing up the league only now he's forced to take more shots with yao out.
You are wrong for two reasons: First, JHo did not see the double team as often as Yao did; second, JHo will not be as effective when facing better PF, Centers such as Rasheed, Tim and Shaq and a few others. That being said, the rockets can use JHo more in offense when Yao is on the bench.
Yao and T-mac both still get double-teamed (whoever happens to have the ball gets the extra attention, or else Yao gets zoned with fronting and help over the top). Of course the point is that when both of them are on the court it's much easier to make them pay for doubling.
I think your head is too hot, hotballa. You are saying T-Mac did not know T-Mac + JH > T-Mac + Yao before, so he came to Houston to play with Yao.
As Gene Peterson would say, "Bingo!". Couldn't have said it any better. Hopefully JH has found his groove and will stay efficient on offense the rest of the season.
