Based purely on defense, yes. But would rather see what a Green-Ivey lineup can do. That fast break offense would be insane. The half court offense would be an adventure however. KPJ-Ivey would also be interesting. But Ivey not my 1st-2nd choice. Still want Chet/Jabari for this current roster.
I'm in the same boat. Chet or Jabari for me but I would be equally happy with Ivey and Kessler/Williams tbh.
I just can't imagine being a Rockets fan and not being all over your top pick and rooting for him to succeed on our team. Not just that, but actively rooting against him. Instead there's a surprisingly large group of you who act like Jalen Green is Stanley Roberts and we traded away a prime Hakeem for him. As if it's an insult for us fans to be all in on Jalen while Hakeem is out there wearing another teams jersey. Something tells me this would still be happening if the pick was Cade or Mobley. Just a bunch of habitual contrarians who think they're individuals and get their strength from that identity, but you're not alone. You're not one. You're many. A bunch of clowns.
Better question is which player fits better next to Green if Chet or Jabari not available. Banchero or Ivey? Green-Ivey would make Rockets transition game elite. Likely the best or min top 3 in NBA. Will Green-Banchero make Rockets half court game elite?
This. Rockets stink. These clowns need someone to hate on. So they take a #2 on the #2. If me wanting Jalen to succeed as a Rocket makes me a JGOF, who tf are these chumps that don't?
Imagine being so wrong you start a thread because you're annoyed other people are saying true things a lot.
