Francis3, I love that idea. It is basic yet real cool. The blue jerseys for some reason are really cool to me.
I wish we would start a tradition of wearing silver unis at home-- kind of like the Lakers getting away with wearing gold at home. Rockets are silver. Silver home unis with red and blue (maybe even white) would be killer. Can someone make a mock-up uniform like that online? We need a GOOD uniform tradition once we wake up from the nightmare of the pajamas.
I don't think that silver would look good as the main or dominate color. I like the pic of the blue uniform. I think it would look better if they changed the red strips on the side to Silver, useing the same type of material that toronto's jersey has that reflective material. The trim can stay red. Loose the "R" logo on the shorts and replace it with the main logo but instead of the rocket being blue the with goofy snarl they should make it a solid metalic Sliver while adding color to the flame, and also making the letters a metalic Silver as well. I think that would look nice.
Ooh also the red and gold colors shouldn't come back because they clash. I mean look at the Atlanta Hawk's uniform, it makes me feel like I am at KFC for some reason.
Silver would be a very odd color to have as the base color for a jersey. A little too flashy. I assume you mean silver, kind of like the Net's jerseys.
I would like a dark gunmetal gray uni for home and the blue Rocketeer uniform for the road, and I agree that the leg logo should be the current ROX logo, but I think the shark teeth are fine, very WWII fighter looking.
instead of pinstripes, we should have big polka dots. and have matching socks and head bands. it'd be pretty
I think the Nets have grey (gray?). I'm talking silver... metallic. Probably a very light shade would do best. Blue numerals and lettering with red and white highlighting. We need a tradition besides laughable unis!
