What's up with Stack calling JB "A Garbage Player?" I had a lot of respect for Stack before his post game whining last night...
I was under the impression that they were friends because they had been teammates at one point. Maybe not. I've never liked Stackhouse because I still remember when he was a rookie with the Sixers and during a blowout loss to the Rockets, he just walked up to Clyde and tried to pick a fight with him for no reason at all. I've thought of him as a punk ever since.
I'm from Wake Forest and have been a big fan of him. I knew he would be a surprise in his rookie year since he was virtually unstoppable in the ACC and yet for some reasons they only drafted him 29th. That said, J-Ho is a dirty player, which showed in his college days. One time me and my friends were rooting for the Demon Deacs and then we saw, going after a rebound, Howard ran toward the basket and pushed the guy in front of him to the grounds. (Ironically his teammate Vytas Danelius was whistled with the technical.) When we saw that we really didn't know what to say. As someone said he's a good defender and has a lot of heart, but he's gotta understand he can't rely on cheap shots to win games. PS: Howard is a Winston-Salem NC native... he didn't know who his father was until like in high school, when he got sort of famous and his father called.
If this isn't a $100k fine, then JVG should be pissed. How is that not calling into question the integrity of the officials and the league?
He implied it though. Along with the league itself. Definitely deserving of a fine if they're going to fine JVG.
players i hate on the mavs in order of first on my hit list to last: DIRK HOWARD HARRIS DANIELS DAMPIER players i actually like: TERRY FINLEY STACK ARMSTRONG who cares about these guys? BRADLEY HENDERSON KVH
I had thought all along that he was wearing braces until they showed a closeup of him on the bench last night. Those are teeth?
Anybody else see that play where Crackhouse went up to try and block T-Mac's shot and T-Mac faked it and went past him only to have Crackhouse trip him by purposefully extending his leg out while he was in the air? Dallas is full of dirty thug players now and they deserve to lose this series to us. Let them flop....what a bunch of babies...they have no honor.
Howard is exactly the kind of guy I'd want next to me in a foxhole. So I could cold-**** him with a rifle butt.
I'll tell you why you hate these guys .... You hate Josh Howard because: 1. He's very ugly, with his big sharp ass teeth. 2. He gets tip-ins and a lot of garbage baskets. 3. He fouls hard. You hate Jason Terry because: 1. He scores on lucky ass broken plays. 2. He is a player that averaged just over 12ppg in the regular season, and now he's in unchartered territory for himself and it's annoying that it's against us. You hate Dirk because: 1. He flops his big ass around like he gets hit by a monorail. 2. He has bad shooting nights, then at the end of the game he gets a tip in and acts like he's killing the Rockets. 3. He b****es about calls when he is the beneficiary of so many favorable ones. You hate Antonio Daniels: 1. Because he is really f'ing ugly. 2. He is really, really ugly. Nothing like an annoying ugly player. Now ... that I've helped you come to realize why you hate these people... hate on. Because I'll probably hate them for life now.
me and my crew were saying that in game 1... for all we know howard could be one of deke's illegitemate children but one things for sure...NOBODY WANTS TO SEX JOSH HOWARD hahah
yo Truth... i think u mean we hate antonio daneils bc he plays for seattle we hate marquis daniels bc we cant remember his name?
Hey, thanks for the insight and information on Howard. You just made this thread a little more interesting.
Be honest, Howard is the kind of guy you love to hate... unless he is on your team. If the Rockets traded for Howard you would all love him. Jon Barry is an arrogant, overconfident, trash talking, a-hole.... except for the fact that he is a Rocket, which justifies everything since he is on the side of good and all that is right. Jon Barry is ready to celebrate a series victory after every made-shot.
