He willed the Jazz to the playoffs so many times with crap teams that if you can't at least appreciate that, even if you hate the Jazz as much as I do, then you don't really appreciate basketball. He'll make teams better.

He needs to replace vinny in Lob Angeles. He's always had elite pgs and good 4s. Now that's a team ready for Sloan.

He quit because the Jazz traded away Deron Williams and he'd have to start over again on the rebuilding arc.

I think that's a good call. They've got the talent. At the same time, I think Sloan is a bit of a dangerous hire. He'd get more out of some players than any other coach could get. But, other players would flake out and get dropped entirely. I think Paul would be fine, but I could see Griffin and Jordan going either way.

Blake looks like he's hungry to improve and his demeanor as being a leader and someone who has accountability really makes me think this next year he's gonna take a big leap in his overall game. Ya deAndre not so sure about.

It would be so funny if Sloan becomes coach for the Bobcats. He would love working for MJ (not).

I don't care what Sloan does, except that if he accepts a head coaching job somewhere at age 93 (isn't he 93??), that it be in the Eastern Conference. His teams always gave us hell.

he must have a death wish if he coaches the bobcats. makes no sense. i know he's an old school guy but it's hard to imagine he couldn't land a much better coaching position in the league.

That's horrible. He had both of his legs amputated and was basically falling apart before death came calling. It was sad reading about it. How could you wish that on anyone?

I hated the Jazz .... But I'd definately trade McHale for Sloan ... in a heartbeat.

Dude's probably one of the top 10 coaches in the history of the NBA.

and they already flop like there's no tomorrow. he can teach them to play dirtier and perfect fooling the officials. as much as i didnt like him as the jazz coach, he is still a heck of a coach.

Next time, just type: "I'm kind of a giant *******."
    Way easier & quicker.

If MJ replaces a 68 year-old coach with a 70 year-old, they may as well close the Bobcats down.

There's probably going to be a lot of Oilers fans who will feel the same way when Bud croaks.

LMFAO I don't see the same Griffin you do. The one I saw this year looked disinterested, our of position, was benched at the end of games and was constantly out of position.
