thats for the best if its if its true; JT lost his spot to Chase last year.

He is just not an NBA player right now, he needs a lot of work.

Give him a fresh start on a crap team where he can play and see if he develops.

    BTW- Another Wizard miss....

this guy is our best defensive perimeter player and we're gonna lose him for nothing...

i wonder why our defense sucks...

I'm with you. At PF, we could leave Scola / Hayes / Jeffries, so we could trade Taylor, Hill, Patterson, Budinger, picks, maybe even AB or Lowry, which I think adds up to more than a Carmelo Anthony or Chris Paul. Not that we could do the deal straight up; the other team might want players that can excel right now.

    2010-2011 Houston Rockets = 95% offense / 5% defense.

I know it's early but I want JVG.

as a warriors fan...NO THANKS...warriors have enough guards and plus JT is 6ft4 at best, warriors already have 2 starting guards that are 6ft2-6ft3. reggie williams and dorell wright are both better than JT...sorry

my warriors are not no fluke...they could suprise and beat good teams like the rockets :p

    Incorrect.

Using your own way to pat yourself on the back:

Anyone with any basketball knowledge of the game would know that letting Taylor go is purely a numbers game at this point in time to make room for a better player.

Great. Ish needs time and more experience. He has "it" as a pg and that is quite rare in the NBA. The caveat here is if he commits to improving his outside shot and free throws.

JT is a offensive black hole.

He's got enough talent to get away with that in the D-League, and there he shines. He's not good enough to do it in the NBA.

He's like the welfare-poor man's version of Quintin Richardson.

That would defeat the purpose, since we're trying to free up a roster spot. It will be interesting what we get for him. I believe Morey bought his draft rights for a little bit of $$$. I wish him the best.

While a JT-for-Rubio proposed deal is obviously a joke, how does that not solve the roster spot issue?

The trade would be for Rubio's DRAFT RIGHTS. Ricky would NOT count towards the 15-man roster until he is actually signed.

    Bima,

Do you think we might have to toss in some others rights just to get a deal for Taylor?

Now that the other NBA teams know we have to get rid of him, I doubt he has any value at all....in their eyes.

So we may have to give up Taylor and Lior or Newley, or maybe even Marrty to make a deal.

Huh? He got a couple years' worth of chances -- he just never did much of anything with them.

Game time is not the same as being given a chance. He was with the team quite a bit and never proved to RA in practice that he deserved playing much time on an NBA team.

JT is a one-trick pony, and though I wish him well, I can't say that I'm all that sorry to see him go. He was never going to contribute much on an Adelman team as a ball-hogging scorer.

We still have what I like to call the T.A.T.E. :)

Or other wise known as the Trevor Ariza trade Exception. The Trade Exception is worth about 6.3 million. We could take back another teams junk player who only has one year left of salary and absorb the incoming player with T.A.T.E. and then waive them. Which would then free up the roster spot we need form Eric. If the salary is very low we would still have a size able chunk left to use or just take as cap relief.

Interesting, but anyway I doubt they have any value. (Of course Llull has it -offtopic update: he's playing PG minutes this year-)
