Good for him, Kings have a lack of wings, so he can get playing time there.

Can't declare a win if a 32nd rounder is traded for potentially lower pick. It all depends whether the T-will trade is good, and JT is bad.

This is like a Patrick Patterson deal. We don't have minutes for JT, so we are sending him down to our D-League affiliate in Sacramento to get some playing time before calling him back up in the next couple of years.

They did a great job developing Kevin Martin for us. Hopefully can do the same with Taylor.

Besides, he'll be right back when we trade for one of their starters. ;)

At least JT can save money and get on the team bus after the game.

Why is everyone on Morey's dick like he's God or something? All he did was trade Taylor to the Kings for a future 2nd round pick. Newsflash!!! Taylor was a second round pick!! So we are basically just getting another 2nd round pick. Taylor didn't get any playing time, so what makes you think this 2nd round pick will be better??

Rockets lose out as they paid $2.5M for his rights.

Yeah I remember Rox plaid quiet a bit to buy that pick, and it goes to waste. I was hoping to get Landry back. Maybe we could have included somethign extra.

It would be going to waste if JT was cut or his deal expired. Trading him for a future 2nd-round pick from a (likely) lottery team is not a waste. It basically gives the Rockets a do-over.

Maybe because Morey was actually able to get something for a 2nd round draft choice who has contributed little to the rockets and has accomplished nothing in this league?

I thought they were going to have to cut either JT or Ish in order to make room for Williams.

now there's more hope for the future. JT was never going to be a solid player.

Morey just covered up for his mistake in this trade. He drafted Jermaine in the second round and he didn't plan out. So essentially he just gets another future 2nd round pick for a 2nd round player. He accomplished nothing but get a 2nd round pick from his mistake of a pick.

So please don't make it seem like Morey is a God for making up for his mistakes.

We won't see this pick. Morey traded a 32nd pick + lotto protected 2012 1st round for Terrance Williams (11th pick)

I said before when he JF broke the news that he was gonna be in the rotation that he was being showcased. No way they were just gonna throw him in there when he hasn't gotten time all season and when Ish Smith has been a beasting.

morey had an asset (second round pick). didn't pan out. morey moves that player for another early second rounder and a chance for it to pan out. this is essentially like getting a scratch off that wins you a dollar. it's good for another ticket and maybe you win something big.

most tickets give you nothing. morey took a bust and got us a free ticket. i dont see how anyone can be upset with that.
