It would help if he was better than Chase and C. Lee. Miss me with this "would it hurt to see if he could help"...all Houston sports fans ****ing do is say this **** over and over. Every got damn sport. Cut it the **** out.
I feel confident that Morey is working on a consolidating trade, maybe there were deals almost (or still in place) in place that included JT and Hill...
If it's dragging out this long, my hunch is they are working on a 2-for-1 type deal (which is what they need). No info to back that on, but I just don't think it takes this long to work out a deal for just Taylor. Granted, they do have to make a semi-difficult move in that Taylor needs to go out with nothing (like a comditional 2nd rounder) coming back. At the same time, the Rockets are not operating right now from a position of strength, so that could delay things. They are 0-4 with the Spurs on deck and have made it known they are bringing in Dampier so they have to move someone.
1) Joey Dorsey is just now starting his 3rd year in the league and he was only in Houston for a season and a half. 2) He played 10 games as a Rocket. He's played 8 gamed in Sacramento and now 1 in Toronto. He hasn't shown any reason why he shouldn't be considered more than an end of the bench player. Can't fault the Rockets for not playing him if he can only manage to be the 4th PF for the Toronto Raptors.
Rox are pretty tough when it comes down to business, so do feel sorry for the guy. I do find it interesting a move has taken this long, maybe something bigger maybe not.
I always think of what Carroll Dawson used to say about how hard it is to make a 1-for-1 trade. So yeah, Clutch, I can roll with that.
You act like he's upset about not getting playing time. He's upset because his livelihood and career are on the line. If you were in his position I'm sure you would at least like to be kept informed. And I agree with Morey is losing his luster. He's made a lot of moves with no real improvement to show for it. His basic plan reminds me of people that spend all their resources buying lotto tickets hoping to hit it big.
"Beyond frustrated...feels like I'm being lied 2" Meh. Could just as easily be talking about a chick. Or a company slow to credit his account after he mailed something back.
He is? Explain....until you meet me half-way on this: 20+ PPG starting 2-guard lottery pick in his rookie season option to swap 1sts in '11 2012 1st round pick (top 5 protected) for 6th man $20 million ...with a trade that's opposite of that (meaning we got screwed over), then, then I'll say he's lost his luster. *waits for..."omg we haven't won a game yet, those picks are worthless"* (predictable asses)
Those would be the "lotto tickets" he keeps buying, but he's yet to actual win the jackpot. Since when has lost luster=the worst GM ever? This team is completely different from the one he inherited 3 seasons ago, but it hasn't made any real progress. Still a team of almost, just waiting for that that missing piece. *waits for..."omg we finally made to the 2nd round on Morey's watch, he is greatest"* (predictable asses)
JT said earlier this week he would be happy to just stay in the league.. it's frustrating, but he needs to understand they're not going to say anything before something is in place......hopefully he goes back to his original way of thinking, he's lucky to be a pro and have the chance to shine elsewhere.
quit trolling dd, your posts are killing me lately and they are everywhere. i don't give a crap of how jermaine taylor feels. waa freakin' waa. he's a fringe nba player getting paid very well to be a practice body. he didn't really play when there was a need for him at the two and he isn't going to play this year if he stays on the rockets. what does he really have to complain about? if he gets traded or cut, someone who wants him will give him a shot at playing time. is he scared he won't be able to cut it? does he love the bench in houston so much he doesn't want to go? all professional sports leagues should ban their players from twitter.
Nah I won't go there. That's a goal for 6-8 seeds with no hope of winning anything. Also, that "yet" is stronger than you think. While you could be right, it won't be too long before he takes a shot, I mean after all, this IS basketball we're talking about, lol.
He's probably good enough to crack 5 or 6 teams' rotations in the NBA right now.... and all the Rockets are doing is letting him rot on the bench. Honestly, he could crack our rotation if he got a chance.. it's stupid though.. we don't give many of our young players a chance. Patrick Patterson might be in the same situation 2 years from now. YES, he's rotting away... he has the talent to be a decent SG.
Man… this sucks. Wish he was playing or traded already, this teams chemistry is f'd up. Hope some else leaves so we can keep Taylor. But it looks like he is done with the rockets
I'm not surprised. Rockets management has a history of treating players like crap.. So why would this be any different?
