Yeah but I don't think in any of the later rounds that Hopkins did enough to get a 10-8 round, and Taylor had such a numerical advantage at that point it was too late.

if you're a boxing fan you'd appreicate them...he's smart and crafty. but i'd agree, if you were looking for a slugfest (like a casual fan) dont watch bhop. you had to like the trinidad fight though
His Trinidad fight was probably his most entertaining one. Watching him reconfigure William Joppy's face was a surreal experience.
I would initially say Taylor cause he's got the tools to be a dominant force for a while and is still young, plus he is supposedly one of the real good guys out of the ring. I wouldn't mind him moving up and shutting up Joe Cal-sucky either. But then I was watching a pre-fight hype show the other day and was impressed by Winky's story, about a guy who worked and worked and never got the recognition or fights he deserved, and finally made the big time after beating down Mosely and Trinidad. So it's tough, there's no real villain here, I wish they could both win.
i hear ya. i'm rooting for taylor. but sometimes i find myself rooting for someone because i really dislike the other fighter..that's definitely not the case, here.

Excellent fight, but I don't agree witht he scorecard. I'd put Taylor up by a point or two right now.
