I cringed when he criticized Cam Newtown this past off season. However, his latest mistake is unforgivable. The guy did not play a snap at all... all the why he was drafted in the seventh round. I don't care how smart.... Dumb action. His NFL career is over.

Dumb or not, he's probably right.

I don't see a problem with anything he said. He didn't name players, and he didn't say the organization sucks. He said what everyone already suspects, and even the GM didn't disagree with him.

And Bart Scott also fined for his one finger salute in the locker room.

I agree with a lot of what he said except this. Jets were in no shape to make a Super Bowl run this year.

I sure do miss the little ginger f#cker.

Would much rather have him behind center than his sissyfied successor Mccarron.

Me neither. And who cares if he plays or not. He's in the locker room so why is he not qualified to talk about what happens in the locker room?

I think the players have grown tired of Rex's act. I predicted this a few years ago.

Rex Ryan = Jerry Glanville Part II

I don't really see a big deal here. Ainge is the one who looks like the titty baby.

A third string rookie QB who was on IR... Keep your mouth shut!

Of course the p***y says it at the end of the season. If he felt so strongly about it, he would of said it earlier . Too afraid to face his team mates.

There's a chance he knows that he's gone anyway. 7th rounder that spent the year on IR? If the Jets want to bolster QB depth, he's probably out by/before March.

Rex Ryan seems to be too much of a player's coach. Loves making himself a target to take heat off of them...but doesn't do a good job keeping the crew focused and in line.

Sanchez stinks. The run game has gone down the toilet. The defense has quietly slipped out of the elite.

The tasted some success but have stagnated.

Good for him. He probably runs the risk of being cut, but the way the Jets are lately, who knows. They seem to be willing to deal with anything (which may be why the comments are true in the first place). I think Rex Ryan breeds selfishness.

Reaction to his words . .. . in this thread
    are a microcosm of society

You should not speak on the issues. . . unless you one of the elite.
Whether what you say is wrong or right is irrelevent .. . it is more important your position in the pecking order.
Never speak on wrong, cover your ass

This is why corruption continues. . . the little guys see it but won't speak on it

There's nothing wrong with anything McElroy said. It's too bad he got hurt and was put on IR because Rex would've definitely felt the pressure to bench Sanchez at some point during the season.

Seventh round draft pick the reason for pressure on Sanchez.

Not sure if serious or drunk.

Sanchez gets benched at least once for a healthy McElroy during the 2012 NFL season. Book it.

Self entitled Saban candy ass protégé is just mad that he has to wait for Sanchez table scraps at the groupie buffet line. You're not in Tuscaloosa anymore ginger.
