Why people keep attacking Westbrook? He ranks 1st on PPG, 1st on rebounds, 5th on assists, 6th on steals, 11th on PPS, among PGs. His only weakness is assists to turn over, ranking 33rd. Then again, Lin is no better, ranking 36th.
100% sure that Lin isn't gonna work on his weaknesses or that Lin is not going to go down as the GOAT, lol.
Westbrook has gotten better and is definitely a force. I think it's his relatively low bball iq that makes everyone talk bad about him. He has improved on his decision making considerably, though.. What an athlete~
*just a reminder about westbrook's ppg and apg. the guy's a volume shooter and he has durant. lin did that last year as the primary option (and basically as a rookie who has never started or even gained any considerable burn) plus with teammates like jeffries *yes, i know he has harden right, but harden does take some of lin's role as a pg.
His best game this year was against Tony Parker, I'm fairly sure than Lin realises Parker is better than him, he had 29-8-6 last time out against OKC, fairly confident than he doesn't think he's as good as Russell Westbrook either, 29-8 against Curry.... The issue isn't that he "feels they're better than him", it's being young, and the pace we play at, and his conditioning (people underestimate how much your first real season of nba basketball takes out of you), he's already played more than twice the minutes he did last year (heck it's taken half a season for them to come up with a rotation that doesn't have him making tired shots and fouls).
If Lin played with Durant, the LoFs would blame his shortcomings on Durant. -Durant is keeping him from being a star. -Durant shoots too much. -Lin is better than Durants but Coach sucks. Blame Brooksfail.
His only weakness is that at any time in a game, no matter how crucial, no matter how well or bad he has been doing, he will go full r****d mode in terms of decision making and throw the game single handedly.
His weakness = TOO SOFT on anyone, TOO KIND, i would love to see him punch someone. and go berserk... and play like shaq
