No, it's still too early to say. A great player can play 15 more years at a high level, or a player could get injured early on ie Penny and Grant Hill. Is Lin capable of consistent 20/8/2? Yes. WILL HE produce 20/8/2 consistently? Who the heck knows.
He's not a character guy, let's just leave it at that. You got something against half irish/half black dudes?
Redlawn posted the link a few pages before. I also watched the games where Lin and Melo played well together. There was some initial struggle but it seems as time went on they were getting there act together.
I just like making fun of guys that crash their cars into street poles, right after their team signs them
It was absolutely idiotic. And he didn't even experience any significant backlash from the media because they were so focused on Lin's offer sheet. The media needs to get there priorities straight.
Unfortunately you are right. I don't know who is worse the people or the media. If the old drunk guy had killed himself or somebody else would they have wanted to read about the old drunk guy, or would that have been postponed because of the Lin drama.
To be fair, he isn't the first NBA player (or celebrity) to get a DWI. Melo has one. JR Smith killed his friend in a reckless driving accident. The Knicks know how to pick them.
If Kidd makes it into the HOF, then Rondo definitely makes it in my book. To me, Rondo is a better JKidd.
