If Lin can keep attacking like in second half, he'd be very good.

According to Morey he is still hurt time to shut him down until the playoffs.

Lin having his first game action for weeks in a playoffs game would be straight up disastrous.

Lin being unhealthy or Lin injuring himself and being out of the play offs would also be disastrous. At this point, I'm not sure Morey has lots of really good options with Bev already sidelined.

That said, my concern with Morey's statements on 790 were less about Lin being injured than Morey saying that his back hasn't been responding to treatment.

When an injury isn't responding to treatment, that is very worrying as it creates uncertain timetables for recovery. And with so little time left in the season and leading up to the play offs, all these injuries puts the Rockets on very uncertain ground.

The same can be said for Bev.

But lets just hope they will come back stronger in the playoffs for the good of the team.

He looks unhealthy to me as well, but where did Morey say he's hurt?

Still the back injury that he's had since the ASB. And Morey said that it hasn't been responding to treatment so they're considering sitting him out some games in spite of Beverley being out.

He said it on 790 radio in his weekly interview. Link in the 790 thread.

    I see. Thanks.

Hope he gets better soon, but probably he'll just play it out with Bev out already.

Hopefully Lin gets better. Lord knows we can't win against the better West teams in a series without all cylinders firing and Lin is a pretty big weapon when he's on, especially if Beverley is unable to return as soon as he wants.

    Starting at 24:40 or so.

"He does have a back issue, however there is a chance he will not play as much or at all tonight... if (Canaan) does get in, it's because Jeremy's back is not responding to treatment."

So this was just before the Raptors game.

Yeah, that was the day of the Heat game in Houston. We've played 15 games since this interview.

Somehow Lin looks unhealthy, being injured or not. He missed some easy baskets after blowing by opponents. He finished way better most of the season.

Shut him down until the last couple of games then, we need to be healthy going into the playoffs.

I think he would be well served to add some hesitations and head fakes to his arsenal. He could learn some tricks from harden, it will open up the driving lanes for him

I think if he just shot better ( he was 6/18 ) he'd be straight... lot of missed open looks / lay ups from what I saw.
