What relevance does any of this have? Jeremy Lin is so far behind those guys talent wise he'd need binoculars to see their ass
You said Lin is average. I say Lin is above average. Talent wise? Oh, maybe you mean when Jeremy scored 38 points against Spurs: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/ts34fXuXzKc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Or the one where the crossover of Lin left John wall in the dust: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/LiwSUxszuN0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Or the dream shake he did on Lillard: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/mAFaN_3qOWw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Even Rafer Alston has some good highlights, your point? Lin has some great tools but his performance is still average.
I don't hate Lin at all. Quite the opposite. I think he's a really good guy with a great story. He's just not remotely close to the player his fans think he is. That's not his fault though
Tony Delk and Willie Burton have both scored 50 points in an NBA game. Want to see their youtube highlights?
Highlights are a showcase of talent. Scouts use the eye test to see if a player can play. But if you want statistical data over a year, here you go: Out of 100+ point guards in NBA 2012-2013 season, Jeremy Lin is: - #7 in Total Steals - #9 in Steals Per Game - #14 in Total Assist - #18 in Field Goal Made - #18 in 2 points made - #31 in Field Goal Percentage (44%) - #25 in Field Goal Per Game - #21 in Assist Per Game - #22 in Rebounds Per Game Using statistical mean, the average is around 50. So clearly Jeremy Lin is not an above average point guard.
lol this data only shows that lin is struggling to be a simple average starting pg in this league. you are comparing him to over 100pgs when you should compare him to 30. from trying to prove that lin is a superstar to all-star, above average and now average pg. good thing lofs expectations are getting lower and lower.
