Spot on. Also helps with And1's to a lesser extent.

They were 1 footed floaters. The 2 footed ones are more consistent as you can stop your forward momentum more.

Everyone seems to forget that Ron Artest tried to give him brain damage in the conference finals. Harden is as clutch as anyone out there.

Earlier in the season most of you were calling for Doc's head...

Are you sure standing still most of the times is considered as "Harden's very skilled off the ball"??? Once harden in the recipient end of a pass, he usually hold onto the ball quite a bit, couple of ball fakes, and establish his rhythm before attacking, that is fine too. But I would love to see more of him playing his "going down hill" style when off-ball, and relentlessly cutting, bring the passes to the hoops strong, which i think is quite deadly considering harden's skillsets. Also I think we have plenty of top-notch passers up and down our roster....

I do agree with you. The off-ball game for Lin is almost non-existent.

its been a joy to see JLin improve throughout the year. Hopefully he keeps on improving and Harden and Lin keep growing as teammates.

his shooting %s arent even all that bad to be honest. sure i wish he were less streaky and more confident but that will come in time.

Wasn't that Miami game where James and Wade were flopping on all those loose balls in the late 4th?

To play off the ball you have to know how to catch and shoot. That's why Beverley plays so well with Harden even though he's not a "great" shooter. He catches and shoots in rhythm which makes it a higher percentage shot.

He misses one game winner. Doesn't necessarily mean he isn't clutch.

Lol@ saying Harden isn't clutch. The guy has come through so many times in the 4th. And trying to credit Lin for Hardens 46 point game, really? Harden was on FIRE, and from what i remember he created most of his shots off the dribble.

First, I'm not a big Westbrook fan.

No I don't think Harden played amazingly. As I wrote earlier, I think Durant played amazingly.

But, your right in saying that my using the word solid was wrong. He played much better that word implies.

The only thing i'm disappointed is Doc didn't mention Lin's habit of stepping on the 3 point line. I hope they work on his stepping/placing when making those shots.

Could you expand on this? Our best player, Harden, got his butt handed to him by Batum on a game winner against Portland. Does that mean he's not clutch? Normally I like to look at aggregate numbers to determine a player's ability to perform under pressure. I've seen some numbers from last year and this year that suggest Lin performs very well under pressure. What criteria do you go by?

Pretty sure it was a satirical response. Obviously one clip from one game earlier in the season isn't indicative of much outside that one moment.

    Yes. This.

I think Harden is brilliant, but this does seem to be a flaw in his game. The loss to the Kings the other night was so painful. but I hope it was a wake up call/ reminder to the Rockets coaching staff and Harden about what will not work in the playoffs. .. particularly as Harden does not seem to be shooting as well recently.
