If Lin can't even shoot why have him out there. His shooting has already been crap before getting hurt. Lin's basically in a lose-lose situation. Come back, play through pain, and get crucified every time he misses shots or sit out to rest and get bashed by everyone.
I know it sounds silly but a bruise can be more serious than you think. We've all had minor bruises that have no other effect than to bring slight pain when pressed on. However, I once bruised the area around my rib so badly while surfing that it hurt just to breath. I couldn't even walk without serious pain. Another time, while playing for my college team someone kneed me in the thigh while I was coming down after jumping. After that I had to keep my leg completely straight while walking for the 2 weeks. Bending my knee would put pressure on my thigh, which was really painful. It's not serious in that it requires surgery, but a bad bruise can take time to heal and can be quite debilitating. If you want to question Jeremy's toughness take a look at this: http://www.sacbee.com/2013/02/11/5180256/kings-notes-lin-impressed-smart.html Smart said that during one practice that season, as Lin drove to the basket, the guard drew contact and was "slammed to the floor," causing his shoulder to pop out. "We tried to get him off the floor," Smart said. "He sat over there, popped it back in and got right back on the floor."

I ain't tryin to be on AB's dick or nothing in this thread but Greg Smith is the reason we lost game two. Aside from that tool Perkins.
Right, because he let his brothers down before and didn't play all 82 games. His coach said that his best attribute was his toughness, yet he's just sitting on his hands, letting his brothers down. SMH.
