    I just saw the post saying medang. That's pretty much the N word referring to black people in Vietnamese which is worthy of a ban.

    No, it's not equivalent to the N word.

    At first i was confused about the "Medang", but after reading a few posts from others i think she meant "My den"

    "My"= American
    "den"= the color black

    Maybe she was referring to a black Mexican, bc "Me"= short for Mexican in Viet.

    My best friend is Vietnamese. It's used as both but most commonly as derogatory.

    No, the words itself arent derogatory unless you add others demeaning words to go with it. "My den" is simply use to refer to someone who is a black American, the same way with "My trang"= white American.
