In all fairness, it is unnecessary to call him "RIN", that's essentially mocking the way some Asians or Chinese talk. Jeremy Lin doesn't even talk like that.

If Lin wasn't Asian, most people would refrain from commenting like that or "driving" jokes. Other than that, everything else is people's disgust for his play.
