The majority in this country are white, hispanic/latino and black. I'm not going to start bringing in Eskimo's in to this b/c i don't know any and i dont see any on tv shows, movies, news articles, etc. showing all Americans that the fact is majority of the poor are Hispanic/latin and blacks. In the majority in those areas have a certain style and mentality that differs from the majority of white people who grow up in suburbs and nice schools.

Yall act like it's so unbelievable that stereotypes exist. "White washed" is a term those exact groups of thug mentality and hip hop style people use. Quit lying to yourself. "Uncle Tom." "White washed." These terms around. Not just me using them.

White washed has nothing to do with what i talked about regarding Jermey Lin and Asian homer fans.

I am racist and i only see and think racist thoughts when i see Asians root for an asian player with complete blind homer vision. I am mistaken and the Yao era never happened. They were all legit Rockets fans from the beginning. None of them are still here and now probably watching Lin play rather than a Rockets game. I am blind. I am crazy and i am racist. I hate Jeremy Lin with all my heart and not all the homers who flood the GARM with Jeremy Lin posts. I will never forgive myself.

Thank you guys for opening my eyes.

If you honestly believe you are entitled to a racist and bigoted opinion then you must be even more r****ded than you sound right now.

I know you guys have the rest of the day open to argue, since Knicks aren't playing again tonight. But you guys have an awesome rest of your weekend! I've got a Rockets game to watch. Take it easy.

Wow, where's that screenshot that ABC put up of how Jeremy Lin is the leading scorer the past 7 or 8 games? that's insane considering the game before, he scored only 10 points

This guy is amazing! But the Knicks have a tough stretch of games ahead of them. It'll be interesting and exciting to watch him play against more contenders.

Sooo the real question. If he keeps up his current level of play... Do you guys think he's going to get Max money? If not what kinda contract will he get?

Apparently due to the Arena's rule, the max Lin can sign for is around 5million this year. Tho he will be able to sign for the max after the end of his third year.

Can those who wants to talk about Lin's race go to the ESPN thread? Leave this thread to basketball talk.

I wonder what excuses the doubters have now.
    - He's been playing against weak opponents. Wait, he beat up the Lakers.
    - The Lakers were tired. Wait, he beat up the Mavericks.
    - The Mavs are.. are... uh... the 3rd best defensive team...

Knicks can match any contract that is going his way, so he's going to be a Knickerbocker for a while.

Good game against the Mavs, who are a good team. Bad game against the Hornets, who aren't a good team. He has certainly had more GREAT games than poor ones, but noting that the majority of opponents have been bad teams is not an excuse, it's a fact. Noting that the Lakers were tired should be clear to anyone who actually watched that game. Props to him for the run that he is on. After this next game (vs the Nets) we will get to see what the real deal is (Hawks, at Heat, Cavs, @ Bos, @ Dal, @ SA, @ Mil, Phi, @ Chi, Por, Ind, @ Ind).

He plays up to the level of competition. That should be apparent now. Guess the MAVs aren't the real deal. Better tell Kidd, Dirk and Marion they are just another scrub team like the Lakers.
