The problem is those two supposedly subpar games aren't really subpar, especially when the sample size is so small that you can't even set a bar yet . What is a subpar game for Lin? Failed to perform at a superstar level? Didn't shoot 58%?

You can't simply judge someone when the standard hasn't been set. Yes his TO raw number doesn't look good, so what? Ever since he started playing major minutes the team TO is down. His TO% is still lower than guys like Nash and Kidd, his ast TO ratio could be better but he's been attacking relentlessly.

I've watched you guys going back and forth for awhile, it's getting rather sad, what point do yu try to make? He's not that good? Of course he's not, nobody expects him to play at a superstar level forever.

Stop the nonsense, get off your computer, go out, breathe some fresh air and stop worrying about a kid playing for new York.

The Wolves game was not a good game by any standards. He shot bad and didn't take very good care of the ball. For a majority of the Raptors game he didn't shoot well and had a ton of turnovers but finished strong. I considered those games subpar by pg standards because it should have cost him team both games if the Wolves or Raptors could have scored more than 12 or 11 in the 4th.

There is no doubt that he is good or at least so far good. Arguing otherwise would be ridiculous imo. I just commented on two games not being great.

Wish I could but with the bar two weeks away I spend all my time at my desk studying with my computer right in front of me. Fresh air comes March 1.

He's regurgitating the same thing over and over for like the last 10 or so pages. Those games are old news by now and we get the point.

I first saw a ripped version from sohu.com, here's the original.

    <object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/-IX5maqYFrY?version=3&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/-IX5maqYFrY?version=3&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

Interesting video since it was taken after the Detroit game on Jan 31, a couple days before the breakout game.

Better study for the bar. You will have ample opportunity to argue afterwards - if you pass. Good luck.

    B/c of your double standards.

Yet in a different thread, you referenced a Kobe game where he put up worse numbers in a loss (while Lin's numbers came in a win) and called it a great game. You tried to defend this inconsistency by referencing the opposing defenses Lin/Kobe faced, but that was an irrelevant point since your statement was "any game".

And in that Kobe/Kevin Love thread, you also said that Anfernee Hardaway's finals performance was hall-of-fame caliber.

In that series, Hardaway averaged 26ppg on 50% shooting, 5 rpg, 8 apg, and 4 turnovers per game. And you said that was HOF caliber.

On the other hand, from the NJ win through the Toronto win, Lin has averaged 27 ppg on 50% shooting, 4 prg, 9 apg, and 5 turnovers per game. And you've been decidedly critical of him.

And during those stretches, Hardaway was 0-4 while Lin was 6-0.
