It's not a story when 5-year veteran goes on a strong run. You expect them to have some good games and bad games. However, when a scrub that gets waived twice and has been riding pine all season goes on a strong run, you don't expect him to drop 38 pts on Black Mamba and company like a seasoned NBA veteran that's been in the league for years. Somebody needs to b**** slap him back to the d-league. Let's see the Mavericks teach that kid a lesson.
Breen is right, he seems to have stretches where he turns it over in bunches. While I'm sure he can improve on some of his ball handling, I think he will always susceptible to TO's due to the fact he is constantly dribbling into congestion and facing multiple defenders in the paint.
Go check my posts. I have repeatedly said that Lin's performance is subpar pg play. Comparing Kobe's shooting percentages in the NBA finals to Lin against a Raptors team is ridiculous. Kobe was facing one of the toughest Ds in the league on the biggest stage in basketball. You can't honestly think that the situations are comparable. Plus Kobe's job is to shoot first and the difficulty on the shots he takes is probably twice what Lin is facing.
Cousins is not that impressive. He will never have the mental capabilities to be a consistent winner in the league.
Been flipping back and forth between the 2 games. Lin's got some nice passes this game and it shows in the stats. turnover prone though. Also, his of ball defense is not that good. Looks like he gets lost on defense sometimes when he's not defending the ball.
Why would I tell you that? I have never said anything like that. All I said is that games 5 and 6 were poorly played by pg standards for a majority of the game and everybody took great offense to that. I don't even know what a fake assist would be. However, everybody should be in agreement that he would not do that in a Rockets uniform because the Mike D offensive scheme inflates your assist numbers.
For all the Rockets fans that are actually watching the NY game over our game, how does Cousins look?
I'm watching both the games but Cousins looks like flustered which automatically means less motivation to play hard. Doesn't have the mental make up to succeed in the league.
