I wonder if tomorrow will be the huge drop-off game everyone's expecting. Played 40 mins today and even then didn't look too fresh. He had trouble with fatigue in the last back to back. I'm expecting some struggles tomorrow. So haters prepare.
Off course he is not a Superstar...or Allstar does not mean he can't be one at the end of the season. It's kind of his rookie season, officially sophomore.....but rookie season with meaningful minutes
stat-wise probably yes because of his turnovers. but he made it up with his clutch winning plays. the bottom line is his 27/11 contributed to the win and his turnovers didn't cost them the win.
9-20 is not great, it's decent. And you do know that when you play THAT many minutes, your efficiency goes down right? Tired legs leads to more missed layups/shots/turnovers. Your production does not increase exponentially with minutes, once you hit the 40 minute mark you start to miss and create more turnovers.
Not bashing. A previous poster claimed that lin would start to drop off tommorrow. Just bringing light to the fact that technically the last two games have been a large drop off in production already. It amazes me that hype can cover for so many things. He made a great, clutch shot. It doesn't mean he played a great game. He's still doing well for his first action ever, but let's not compare him to all stars just yet... or Lowry for that matter...
It's alright. I know what you are doing. You are dampening expectations but it won't work. The majority have been infected with the Lincillus bug.
Playing 40 minutes a game gives you many more opportunities to pad stats over most everyone else in the league. By the way, Lin had 5 turnovers in the first 15 minutes of the game.
+- is all that matters he was plus 5, enough to win a game. And he did. Since when were all superstars efficient? Lebron and Durant are just upper echelon cases.
